Why clear pricing is hard to find
Of the UAE's 44 officially accredited providers, very few publish pricing directly on their website. That's not necessarily a flaw โ a lot of B2B technology services are priced by volume and need (custom pricing) โ but it means you can't budget from browsing websites alone. Request a written quote from at least 2-3 providers.
The five cost items to ask about
1. One-time setup fee
Covers connecting your system to the provider and testing the integration. Varies heavily by how complex your accounting system is โ a business on a common cloud system (QuickBooks, Zoho) is usually cheaper than one on a custom system or large ERP.
2. Recurring fee (monthly or annual)
This is the number Fynamics actually publishes (from AED 4,500/year). Expect boutique providers to sit in a similar range or lower, while large consulting-tier providers are often more expensive because the price bundles advisory service, not just a technical tool.
3. Per-invoice fee
Some providers add a small fee per invoice sent or received, on top of the fixed subscription. This matters a lot if your volume is high โ a business issuing thousands of invoices a month could pay multiples of one issuing dozens, even under the same subscription tier.
Always calculate based on your peak activity (e.g. month-end or a seasonal spike), not your monthly average โ some plans have a cap, and anything over it is billed at a much higher rate.
4. Integration and training cost
If your accounting system is complex or custom-built, expect an integration cost beyond the standard setup fee. And even with the technology ready, your team (accounting, sales) needs training time โ a real indirect cost.
5. The cost of delay (actually the biggest one)
Per our own site, the potential monthly penalty for not appointing an accredited provider on time reaches AED 5,000 per month. Delay just two months and you've paid more than a full year's subscription at the cheapest provider in the market. Full details in our penalties article.

Based on the one published number we have (Fynamics) and general market patterns, a small business issuing under 100 invoices a month could roughly expect an annual range starting around AED 4,500-8,000 for the basic subscription alone, before setup or per-invoice fees. This is an illustrative estimate from a single source, not a documented market average โ the only way to know your real number is to request direct quotes.
