Context for Ajman
A small-business and light-industry economy with low incorporation costs. Most businesses here fall in the second wave of the mandate, but their larger customers will start requiring structured invoices well before that.
Notable free zones
- Ajman Free Zone (AFZA)
Free-zone businesses are not automatically exempt — any business issuing B2B or B2G invoices is in scope regardless of whether it sits in a free zone.
